Disclosure: I worked for the Lamont campaign doing web design and production and some writing for the official blog (from 9/5/06 to 11/07/06).

Tuesday Morning Round-Up
- Dick Morris - who once consulted for Ned Lamont in a state senate race - dismisses Lamont's chances versus Lieberman, telling Political Wire, "He need not be taken very seriously. Lieberman is not vulnerable and a primary will only make him that much stronger (assuming Ned even gets on the ballot)." Given the guy's track record, the campaign couldn't ask for any better news than Dick Morris prognosticating against it.
- Joementum spells out Joe Lieberman's position on censuring a president: if it's George W. Bush and we're talking about the brazen felonious disregard for a specific statute protecting Americans' civil liberties, he'd "prefer to see us solve the problem" than address it via censure. If it's fellow Democrat Bill Clinton and we're talking about a blowjob, Lieberman himself will call for censure.
- BranfordBoy has the full transcript of the official announcement yesterday (not the prepared remarks).
- More on the announcement: Howie Klein was at the event and posts about the playlist chosen by the campaign. I think U2's "Beautiful Day" may be the most overused campaign song ever... wake me the day a candidate walks in to Chuck D. screaming "Nineteen eighty NINE!"
