Friday Round-Up
- Events coming up soon: Ned's on the radio with RFK Jr. on Saturday, in Simsbury on Sunday (rain or shine), and in NYC on Monday.
- LamontBlog is now up at Technorati.
- Super (Midterm) Tuesday is coming up next week, and there are a bunch of races around the country that seem to echo Lamont in CT: Marcy Winograd is challenging Rep. Jane Harman in a Democratic primary in CA, Jon Tester has the momentum in the Dem primary for senate in Montana, and Francine Busby is trying to win Duke Cunningham's old, very red congressional seat in a special election, in what the media is playing as a bellweather for Democratic chances in November. The wave starts Tuesday out west, crests August 8th in CT, and crashes the gates of D.C. in November.

Another parallel race on Tuesday is that of my brother, grassroots candidate Jerry McNerney, challenging DCCC annointed newcomer Steve Filson for the Democratic nomination for Congress in California CD-11.

Jerry McNerney isn't a great candidate just because he's johnmac's brother; he's the kind of man all Americans need in Congress. His race to represent real Democrats against corporate Insider shills is one that everyone who understands the dynamics of Ned's race against Lieberman will understand and appreciate.
