Disclosure: I worked for the Lamont campaign doing web design and production and some writing for the official blog (from 9/5/06 to 11/07/06).

Tuesday Night Round-Up
- The Lamont campaign reached their initial goal of 500 contributions (for over $30,000) by the end of quarter Friday... and it's only Tuesday. How far can we push it?
- A trip down Marion Steinfels Memory Lane: back at the convention in May, she was the Lieberman staffer who hilariously kept stepping in front of Spazeboy's camera as he was trying to video Sen. Lieberman. If you didn't see it then, watch it now. Funny stuff.
- Iraq isn't the only thing missing completely from Lieberman's website. So is any notice of public campaign events and any district office directions or volunteer contacts. He really is running a stealth campaign.
- Speaking of stealth campaigning, Joe Lieberman will be a guest on WTIC 1080-AM tomorrow (Wed.) morning at 8:20 am. If call-ins are allowed, the # is (800) 966-WTIC(9842). (Hat tip mikect).
Lieberman will be on WTIC 1080 AM's Ray & Diane show on Wednesday at 8:20 am. I doubt he'll allow call ins, but the # is (800) 966-WTIC(9842) or locally (860) 522-WTIC(9842). Can also listen online.
I betcha Lieberman will be gloating about the AFL-CIO endorsement. May it puff up his ego so that it will be dashed on July 6, the date of the debate between Lamont and Lieberman.
There was a report on Channel 3 news yesterday that Ned had picked up the support of Barbara Streisand. Frankly, that probably will carry more weight than the AFL-CIO.Post a Comment
