VP Cheney, today:
The vice president said U.S. allies in Afghanistan and Iraq "have doubts" America will finish the job there. "And those doubts are encouraged, obviously, when they see the kind of debate that we've had in the United States."
Sen. Lieberman, last Decemner:
"It's time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be the commander in chief for three more critical years and that in matters of war we undermine presidential credibility at our nation's peril," Lieberman said.
On Democrats helping terrorists:
VP Cheney, today:
"Suggestions, for example, that we should withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq simply feed into that whole notion, validates the strategy of the terrorists."
Sen. Lieberman, last month:
"If we just pick up like Ned Lamont wants us to do, get out by a date certain, it will be taken as a tremendous victory by the same people who wanted to blow up these planes in this plot hatched in England. It will strengthen them and they will strike again."

If Lieberman wins in November, you can expect him to (i) continue to support Bush's perpetual occupation of Iraq and (ii) support and encourage any and all future wars that Bush and Cheney decide to cook up.
If elected Lieberman will not provide oversight of this administration, instead, he will continue to be its biggest cheerleader in Iraq and beyond.

Actually, when Lieberman wins, we can expect that he will support finishing the job of routing terrorists--whether they are in Iraq, Iran, North Korea, or New York.
