Stay The Course

"I support Joe Lieberman because he has consistently said we are going to 'stay the course.'"

- Sgt. James Liska, speaking at a press conference in support of Sen. Lieberman today.
Comments:
It would be great to get Paul Hackett to come and stump for Lamont. Paul unofficially endorsed Ned prior to the primary. He said it on The Ed Schultz show. It caught Ed Schultz off guard.

Yes indeedy. Stay the course of destruction, death, and corruption.

"In Hartford two Iraqi War veterans were brought together by the former Commander of the V.F.W. to make a statement."

Two?

Wasn't this billed as a major press event? Steps of the Old Statehouse, vets coming out to support Lieberman (CT aWol), and all we get is two?

And only one "Stay The Course™"

Not to be picky here but couldn't both of them have lauded Lieberman for Staying The Course™?

"I support Joe Lieberman because he has consistently said we are going to 'stay the course.'"

ok, there we go, our premier money quote for the next & final lamont iraq TV commercial, in stark white text on a black background, that statement and joe's New Yorker magazine statement, "basically, George Bush has it right on iraq."

I love ned's current iraq TV commercial, but we still need to stamp these superb iraq money quotes on joe's forehead for all to see via mass TV commercials -

i'll bet that most CT voters are still not even aware of joe's New Yorker magazine statement, and the CT voters need to become very aware of it via commercials, because most CT voters are not plugged into the same wonky information loops that we are.

"It would be great to get Paul Hackett to come and stump for Lamont."

a great idea!

what is the best channel for getting these ideas to the lamont campaign?

is posting them right here sufficient, or am I naiive to think that lamont campaign people eagerly scour the blogs for new ideas?
