Director of Central Joetelligence?
Such a possibility was floated on MSNBC earlier today, according to the Huffington Post:
But, alas, it was not to be:
Is there any possible Bush Administration position for which Lieberman would not immediately be mentioned as a possible candidate? Over the last few months, he's been floated as a possible Sec. of Defense, Sec. of Homeland Security, UN Ambassador, and now CIA Director.
Why is his name always in the mix? Easy: because he's George Bush's Favorite Democrat.
UPDATE: Forty-five minutes after the Oval Office announcement, and moments after the Wall Street Journal's John Harwood wonders on MSNBC whether Joe Lieberman might a candidate to replace Goss (Extra! Langley Gets Joementum!)
