Windsor DTC Endorses Lamont

It's not binding on delegates in terms of their vote at the convention, but it's obvious from stories like this, as well as from Ned's great reception at DTCs and Joe's desperation in paying a phone bank to call delegates, that the rank-and-file is fed up with Joe across the state:

The Lamont resolution won on a 16-14 vote after spirited and thoughtful discussion, which mostly centered on the Iraq war. No one who spoke, even if they were for Lieberman, endorsed Lieberman's position on the war....

Previously, Windsor delegates received phone calls from a Lieberman paid-phone bank inquiring about support. A PAID PHONE BANK! No volunteers?

Comments:
Windsor DTC members go 16-14 for the challenger, how democratic!
I wish I lived in a democracy. I live in John DeStefano's town, where Joe Lieberman lives. It's not a democracy here because, to Keep Up Appearances, Prevent Embarrassment to Certain JoeMentum Supporters, Keep the Pork Flowing, etc... Big John won't let a Majority of delegates go for Lamont, only up to just shy of half. Oh, if only all Democrats were democrats!
