Debate Report

Ned was at his best yet. Joe again looked like wanted to be anywhere but on a stage defending his record. Schlesinger continued to hit Joe hard. Schieffer kept on having to cut Joe's mic, because he was running over time. The pro-Ned crowd outside was huge and boisterous. The media ran to Ned and Alan afterwards, but Joe was nowhere to be seen.

And the float was back.

Pictures and more coming soon. A great day.
Comments:
There had to be some Iraq questions on the day after 10 US troops were killed. Truly, I do not understand people like Sen. Lieberman who don't personally hold themselves accountable for such an awful disaster for our country. And he slams other people as not being patriotic.

Joan-

There was an Iraq question, right up front.

Joe said - with a straight face - that "no one wants to end the war in Iraq more than I do").

Ned pointed out that Joe has opposed ALL attempts to change course over the past 3 1/2 years.

When and where is this debate going to be televised-?

Is C-SPAN going to televise this debate-?

Please can someone at least get this debate put out on the Web someplace ( YouTube-? CrooksAndLiars?, etc.)

Thanks,

Ned pointed out that Joe has opposed ALL attempts to change course over the past 3 1/2 years.

When the Democratic Senators tried to have an intelligent discussion of Iraq options a few months ago, Joe joined the Republicans in accusing them of "Cut and Run". Joe has joined in the subversion of the democratic process on this by frustrating any intelligent discussion.
