Disclosure: I worked for the Lamont campaign doing web design and production and some writing for the official blog (from 9/5/06 to 11/07/06).

Wednesday Round-Up
- Bush is in Bridgeport right now, speaking in front of a selected audience about healthcare, and protesters this morning were supposed to have been kept far away. Big surprise. The purpose of this trip is still perplexing to me, as local Dems are reportedly thrilled. But with a shooting on I-95 near West Haven this past weekend, and a huge fire just off I-95 in Stamford a couple of days ago, shutting down I-95 between Bridgeport and New Haven for a purposeless trip by an unpopular president must feel like the trifecta for local residents. You can thank Chris Shays for this latest inconvenience, and ask him why the highways are in such bad shape while you're at it.
- You must check out Spazeboy's little Dr. Evil/Sen. Lieberman mashup masterpiece entitled "Shh" (YouTube, wmv/mov via C&L).
- Lamont's campaign is adding directors for each congressional district, starting with Eddie Vale in the 3rd, a veteran of the Ginny Schroeder campaign in PA.
- You can meet Ned as well as some of the new campaign staff at the DFA meeting in New Haven tonight. Go if you can, and bring a friend or two. I know a lot of bloggers covering the race will be there, I have faith we'll all hear how it went.
- I'll be doing some traveling today and tomorrow, so expect infrequent posting.
- Update: Gen. JC Christian has more on the burgeoning GOP-male-prostitutes-for-Lieberman movement. I can't believe Ned was so unresponsive to the General.

I originally e-mailed Americablog with your findings - it's really taken off from there.
I think I've created a monster.

P.S. If Mr. Lamont remains unresponsive to the General, he may make himself vunerable to the challenge of a Roman wrestling match.
I was at the Lamont DFA meeting last night, and have a write-up in my blog at FutureDV. After seeing him in person and hearing him speak, I'm going to do everything I can to spread the word...this guy is good for Connecticut!
