Friday Morning Round-Up
- CTBlogger and spazeboy were at the JJB dinner last night, and might have reports later today. To be clear, I personally do not hold any endorsement of Lieberman against Obama. He is a first-term senator with huge buzz who is doing everything he can to look like just one of 100, and Joe has obviously been something of a mentor to him. Anyway, that's what incumbents do: protect their own. I'd be thrilled if a sitting senator came out for Lamont, but I have zero expectations of that happening. Others should calibrate their expectations of both state and national incumbent politicians accordingly.
- Big labor catch for Lamont: Rick Melita, political director at CSEA, has signed up with the Lamont campaign, according to Matt Stoller.
- Today's the last day for first quarter fundraising, and it's the day Ned Lamont will get over 3,000 online donations. The blogosphere pumped up the numbers big-time last night, as about 300 individuals donated yesterday alone. The current ActBlue total is 2,913 donors for $157,479.83. Contribute today.
- Final reminder: Ned in NYC today, 6:30pm, at a DFNYC meet-and-greet. Come by, say hi.

I do! That was way, way more than an endorsement. Nice try Joe, but it's all sandpaper & no cigar. Notice how many donations Ned got last night. That's right you putz, joe, keep it up.
