Wednesday Round-Up
- Ned was on the radio twice today: a piece on Morning Edition on NPR and a live interview with Colin McEnroe on WTIC. The Ned Lamont Resource has both. In the WTIC clip, Ned and Coliln talk about Joe's new radio ads on his environmental record, and Joe's vote for the Energy Bill and slowness to oppose the Broadwater LNG proposal.
- Ned also told Colin he's met with almost 20 DTCs so far, in a couple of months. All open to the public. How many open DTC meetings has Joe Lieberman been to?
- Howie Klein writes about his impressions of Ned at Music For America:
A few weeks ago I met Ned Lamont, the progressive Democrat who has challenged Lieberman, at a friend's house here in Los Angeles. He inspired a sense of confidence in me that was the polar opposite of how I reacted when I met Lieberman, basically a smarmy character oozing fake piety, fake openness and fake friendliness. Lamont listened when I spoke and asked all the right questions. I was surprised.
- Latest ActBlue numbers: 2,466 donors, $142,031.05 total. Remember, the offical website's donation page doesn't currently go through ActBlue. The goal is to get to 3,000 donors by Friday at midnight. Contribute.
- For fellow New Yorkers, Ned will be in town at a DFNYC meet and greet this Friday at 6:30pm at Cinema Classics/Rififi on 11th st. in the East Village. I'll be there.

I am beginning to think that Lieberman thinks he owns his seat.

If you didn't see Colin McEnroe's post about this, you must hear how Colin's interview with Lieberman has been turned into a dance mix!
Then there's the endorsement of Lamont by the editorial page editor of the Journal Inquirer.
