Dodd's Got an Itch

dodd

As if on cue, Sen. Dodd gives an interview to AP and says he might want to run for President in 2008:

"It's an itch," Dodd told The Associated Press during an interview in his Senate office on Monday. "Could grow. Could disappear. It's an itch. It's not a bad word to use."

Dodd once again says nothing about whether he will support the winner of the Democratic primary for senate in November. Ask him if he will:

Washington Office: (202) 224-2823
Connecticut Office: (860) 258-6940

As for that "itch"... has he tried some calamine lotion?
Comments:
Dodd is a bozo for supporting Lieberman. I won't support any Democrat that supports Lieberman. I would rather lose every Democratic seat and cleanse the party than to win with guys like Joe. Dodd has no right condemning Bush for the war and then supporting Lieberman

anon- I have no problem with Dodd supporting Lieberman in the primary. That's his prerogative.

I have a BIG problem with Dodd refusing to support the winner of the Democratic primary, no matter who it is.

LAMONT at DFA in NEW HAVEN TOMM!!

Hey all - My name is Eddie Vale and I just joined the Lamont campaign, and will be the district director in the 3rd Congressional District.

Having been the field director for Ginny Schrader in PA 8 I've done tons of work with DFA and the online community and am looking to keeping it going!!

Any of you who are there tommorow please make sure to come and say hi, I'll be the poor guy stuck in a suit!

** Remember ** It's key that Lamont gets to meet NEW people who are undecided about the race so please bring as many friends and family who are unfamiliar with the campaign as you can!

New Haven Democracy for America DFAlink meeting (Meet and Greet)

Ned will be addressing the New Haven DFA group. Ned will be speaking after 7:30 PM.

Time: Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 PM
Duration: 2 hours
Host: Nathan Karnes

Location: Naples Pizza (New Haven, CT)
90 Wall Street
New Haven, CT 06511

I have no problem with Dodd supporting Lieberman now, since they both have served in the Senate since 1988 and are both in the establishment. However, Dodd should pledge to support the nominee after the August primary, whether it's Lieberman or Lamont, as both candidates should as well.
