DLC Chairman To Support Primary Winner

It seems even Joe's friends at the DLC aren't willing to support his Indy run. CTBlogger notes that DLC Chairman Gov. Tom Vilsack (IA) pledged to support the primary winner in Connecticut yesterday at dKos:

[new] Connecticut Senate Race (0+ / 0-)
Joe Lieberman is a friend. He has been a great Senator for the state of Connecticut.

The voters in Connecticut will make their decision on August 8th and I will support the nominee.

Comments:
Too bad Rahm Emanuel and the DCCC didn't shut up and watch the primary vote in CA11, when Jerry McNerney shellacked their boy. He now faces Richard Pombo, one of the worst of the Republican Congressman. Now, they are backing off and it's a winnable district. Jerry's story is similar to Ned's in that he's a political neophyte, egged on to run against Pombo in 04 when the National Dems had no one.
